Great ice cream maker for one serving. The ice cream mix is poured into the bowl and after about 25 minutes, a soft ice cream is made. I like to store it in the freezer for about an hour after mix is made to harden the ice cream a bit.

I would highly recommend - with the understanding that you will only be able to make a half a pint of ice cream at most with this device. I have used it a couple of times at this point, and have enjoyed it.

i didn't realize that you had to freeze the bowls separate. I actually thought the bowls chilled while it was churning but nope you have to freeze the bowls for 24 hours so plan accordingly. but ice cream recipe in the books come out great. its just not a "oh i want some quick ice cream" type thing
