This tool has proved absolutely indispensable for pulling up large weeds like dandelions and the like from my lawns. It is very well made and the process in which weeds are pulled up is easy and effective. Admittedly, it is not unusual to pull up a clump of soil along with weed but this is merely down to the root systems. I simply give it a good shake or prise the attached soil away keeping it over the hole from where it came from. It really has made the whole process of weeding a lawn incredibly easy and somewhat fun. It did not take long to learn how to master using this tool and invariably has cut down on the time considerably on what was normally a very laborious job. Cleaning afterwards like any other outdoor tool is essential. Just a brush or wipe with a damp cloth, then a spray of WD40 and job done. Well worth the purchase.

My back garden is a carpet of thistles and my back isn't what it used to be,this makes short thrift of the work. Would highly recommend

Great if you have a lawn. Unfortunately we have very stony ground so not great for me. It if you do have a lawn my son says wonderful piece of kit

I am disabled and although it did work 7times out of ten. It took me days to get over half an hour of weeding with it. I found it very awkward and it was heavy, but it did get the dandelions up as long as it was positioned properly. That was the biggest problem, it had to be positioned correctly or it just dug the flower bed.
