I live in Sacramento, California where the summer temps can rise above 110 degrees. I've had two of these mounted to the top of my truck for all four seasons and they have done very well. They expand in the summer and contract in the winter without leaking a drop of fuel. Before ordering these, I did a little research and discovered that the supplied spout would be a problem so I ordered the longer flexible NATO style spout. I never used the supplied one but can tell you that the flexible one will empty these tanks very quickly and safely. Like others have mentioned, open these tanks slowly on hot days. 10/10 would buy these again if I needed more.
