Initially I was a bit skeptical about buying this bit... similar step-up bits were $45 at the big stores... I thought I'd take a chance and I was super impressed... I've made thirty 1/2 inch holes in steel bars (going slow and using cutting fluid)... the bit is still going strong... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BIT!
Bit was good for the 2 days I used it nonstop. Went to use it today and the bit broke right off of it. Wdit: editing this review because the company sent me a new bit since the last one broke. Great customer service
I had to drill 3 holes in my frame supports to install a body lift on my truck cab. I soaked it in WD-40 before starting each hole and with a small puf of smoke, this made quick work of the job! I used the box that it shipped in to catch the WD-40 drippings and the metal shavings that dropped as part of the process. It looks to be intact, I kept the little plastic end-protector and sleeve it came in for storage.
I have yet to put this step drill to the test, but my initial impression is that it is well and will provide good service for the homeowner or hobbyist.
I had to use this the day it came in. 4 holes made for a project that fell in my lap. This drill bit is simply amazing. The speed it cut was shocking and the smoothness of the cut made it a great addition to my collection. Would definitely recommend.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If you don’t have the receipt, but are apart of our Rewards Program we can look up the order. Refunds will be made in the same manner the customer paid.
To start a return, you can bring the item to us in store or contact us at sales@newbotay.shop. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
